EXPERIMENTATION: Water Channels

This experiment was born out of my continued interest in multi-channel instillation, which I wanted to reproduce through editing software, with the goal of it being played as one, rather than as physically separate screens. During this process the idea of discontinuity started to really interest me and I wanted to turn the different parts of the video on and off with no sense of predictability or narrative. So, this video is what emerged out of me playing with shutting off or turning on the three channels with no pattern or plan. I have created an almost landscape/soundscape piece and would be interested in developing this further into a longer video to see what the continued effect of that would be on the viewer.
